About

I am new to the Blogs (April 16, 2013) and have had the privilege of meeting some people I now refer to as “My Friends” . I hate naming anyone because I know I will leave someone out. Since I have hung out mostly over at Nate’s Finding Truth blog, I will simply say many of those people are the ones I am referring to.

The title to my blog, “The Divine Spark Within”  is a phrase I borrowed from the late scholar and author,  Alvin Boyd Kuhn.  If religion is right that a “Divinity”  created us or if Science is right that we were created by a meteor or comet crashing to earth carrying additional elements needed to create  life ,  we humans need to stop looking outward for the answers to life’s problems because we possess “The Divine Spark Within” .

  5. I did not understand your last paragraph. It seems like you said, whether religion or science is right, either way, we should “stop looking outward for the answers to life’s problems”.

    Is that right?

If so, what is an example of looking inward for the answers? What is this look outward vs inward ?

And you are saying if a comet created life on earth, then the comet is the divine spark?

    Can you see my confusion?

  11. I love the Mark Frost quote in your header. It’s my sister’s mantra and she thinks it justifies the fact that she’s still smoking a pack a day. 🙂 Thanks for the follow. I also enjoy living in Florida. Sylvia
